Maceo Hamilton

Maceo Hamilton, was born on September 4, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the union of Louis and Elizabeth (Jackson) Hamilton. He was a graduate of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, class of 1953.

He was a dedicated and faithful civilian employee with the Department of the Air Force for 34 years.

Maceo is lovingly survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Hamilton; three daughters: Doretha Turpin, Debarha Hamilton and Camille Hamilton Hicks; one son, Johnny ( Kathy) Hamilton; one sister, Lillian Hancock; sisters-in-law, Lucille Wilder and Willie L. Purnell; a host of nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Residence Park Church of Christ, 4328 Hoover Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45417, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Brother Gerald Wilder officiating.
