Mac Arthur Casebolt, age 75, of Beavercreek, Ohio went home to Jesus on June 7, 2018. Mac was born in Mousie, Kentucky to McKinley and Alma Casebolt on July 6, 1942. He was one of 17 children. Mac made Ohio his permanent home after graduating high school in 1961 from the Hindman Settlement School in Hindman, Kentucky.
Mac was married to Dolores (Cox) Casebolt for almost 45 years (July 27th). Even though both had been married a first time, with children, Mac & Dolores blended their "yours, mine, ours" into a close family.
Mac is survived by his wife Dolores; daughters Renee (Ron) Snodgrass of Beavercreek, Ohio, Lori Taylor of Louisiana, and Megan (Greg) Eley of Lewisburg, Ohio; as well as his sons Jason (Leanne) Casebolt of Snohomish, Washington, and Dalton Casebolt from Beavercreek, Ohio; and precious grandchildren Alex and Cole Snodgrass, and Jackson Casebolt. He is also survived by his cherished siblings Janice Combs (TN), Ed Casebolt (KY), Linda (Paul) Amburgey (KY), Deb (Vernon) Combs (KY), Chad Casebolt (KY), Shane (Mary) Casebolt (KY), and Joyce (Benny) Amburgy (OH), as well as many close friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Before Mac hired on at Delco Moraine (General Motors) in 1964, he worked several jobs in the area from farm laborer, box factory worker, and painter. At Delco Moraine he went through the Electrical Apprenticeship Program and proudly retired from GM in May 1999, after 35 years. After retirement, he developed a passion for working on small motors, mowing lawns, and snow removal, along with spending time with his family, friends, and his McDonald's buddies every morning for coffee. Mac loved to share humorous stories of life about his family and growing up in Kentucky. Mac never met a stranger and could light up a room.
Mac attended and was baptized at The Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. He loved the Lord and said that he lived a good and fulfilling life with no regrets. After fighting a battle with cancer, he was ready to rest with Jesus. He will be missed by his family, as well as all of those that knew him.
