Mable E. McCombs (Nared) was born to James and Cleo (Saunders) Nared on August 6, 1945 in Xenia, Ohio. She was educated at East High School and was a caregiver to many. Turning no one away, she was always willing to be a mother to all; being the 5th child of 10, it became second nature. Mable really enjoyed working with the youth, since the time of being an Advisor for the Soldierettes Marching Unit in the 1970s.
Mable loved her family dearly! She was a proud member of the "Nared 10": James, Bertie, Patricia, Clarence, Mable, Richard, Frances, Wayne, Ronald, and Phillip. Mable was happy to be the "middle child." She served as the bridge between the older group and younger group.
Mable was preceded in death by her loving parents James and Cleo Nared; brother, James Nared Jr.; sisters, Patricia Captain and Bertie Aikens; brother, Clarence Nared; nieces, Darlene Clark and Peggy Watson; grandson, André Nooks; sister-in-law Brenda "Aunt Bunny" Nared; great-granddaughter, A'miracle Nooks; and her Forever Friend Jessie C. McCombs.
Mable passed on peacefully (with a smile on her face) on Wednesday evening, July 22, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memory Jessie C. McCombs III, Angela Brown, Irene Williams (Skip), Phillip Nared (Lori), Arthur "Duke" McCombs (Heidi), Marvin McCombs (Tamara), Michael Day, Timothy Akins, God-given sons Gary "Boo" Nared (Sarah) and Anthony "TC" McCombs, Grandchildren Gary Brown, Antwaun Glass, Ashley Nooks, Asten Nooks, Sharonne Nooks, Amber McCombs, Marvin McCombs, Jr., Amonté Harding, Amanda McCombs, Javon McCombs, Alana McCombs, Josiah McCombs, 20 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
