Mabel Hoskins
Age 83, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Mabel was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Hamp Hoskins; her parents, Johnnie & Ollie Lewis; and by six brothers.
Mabel is survived by five children, Myral (Lisa) Hoskins, Alene (Robert) Loudermilk, Danny (Pam) Hoskins, Mattie (Michael) Steele & Curtis Hoskins; eight grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Tilley, Malaina (Mike) Davis, Todd (Jill) Hoskins, Steven (Shanna) Steele, Claudia (Kevin) Miller, Curtis W. Hoskins, Johny Hoskins & Amber Hoskins; thirteen great grandchildren, Sueronna Tilley, Jessica, Jordan, Jillian, Josie & Joseph Steele, Chelsea, Nicholas & Carly Hoskins, Madison & Mason Hoskins, Addison & Aiden Miller; one great great grandchild, Kameron Pooler; sister, Lucille Bray; sister-in-law, Mattie Lewis Grimes; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Mabel was a member of The Way of the Cross Church and she worked for the Salvation Army for 32 years.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at The Way of the Cross Church, 612 Beatrice Drive, Riverside, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Pastors William Loudermilk, Todd Hoskins & Robert Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Hospice of Dayton and Stone Spring of Vandalia for the loving care they provided to Mabel.
