Mabel B. Lay
Age 84, of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Herstle L. Lay in 2006. She is survived by one sister, Doris Watson; three sons, Lewis (Kandy) Lay, David Lay and Larry (Chris) Lay; one daughter, Sue (Rob) Yerian; six grandchildren, Andrea Brooks, Anthony Lay, Verna (Jamie) Mutter, Liz (Scott) Back, David W. Lay, and Amy Lay; eight great grandchildren, including her special great grandson, Gavin; numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and family members. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Clifton Powers officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to the donor's favorite charity.
