M. Carol Henley

M. Carol Henley, age 74, passed away May 12, 2016 in Brookville, Ohio. She was born to the late Thomas and Kathleen Bellville on February 12, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio. Carol worked for the Dayton Daily Newspaper in the Vital Statistics for many years. She is survived by her children Lauren (Don) Wolfe, Brian Pfeiffer (girlfriend Patti Blankenship), Karen Pfeiffer (Lee Hodges); three grandchildren Chris Rawlins, Kevin Rawlins, and Monica Walker (Josh Brunner); five great grandchildren Monica Hodges, Riley Hodges, Haylie Brunner, Mila Brunner, and Haston Brunner, along with numerous family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Craig Hodges and sister Pat Webb. A memorial gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 4pm-6pm with a memorial service to follow at 6pm. Carol wanted to express her heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Heartland Hospice for taking such great care of her and her family as well as the caregivers at Brookhaven for their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
