Lynne Compton

December 4, 1955 — April 1, 2024

Lynne Ellen Compton, age 68, of Xenia, Ohio passed away, Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born December 4, 1955 to the late Forrest (Jean) Compton and late Mary Compton. Lynne grew up in Xenia and had many childhood friends who became her lifelong friends. She graduated from Xenia High School in Roarin' 74. Lynne had a dry sense of humor and was matter of fact, which made her stories from her childhood to her adult life enjoyable, hilarious and memorable. She adored vacationing, especially at the beach. Most of all, Lynne loved her family dearly and would do anything for them without ever a second thought. Lynne was fulfilled in life by ensuring her family had everything they wanted and needed. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life and she always made sure they had the best-looking shoes and clothes before the new school year. Lynne's kindness, humor and selflessness will live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren forever.

Lynne was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Kuschnerus. She is survived by her husband, Rainer Kuschnerus; daughter Karina (Jim) Morgan and children Tyler (Carolyn) Grile and Travis Grile; son Konrad (Anne) Kuschnerus and children Liesl, Kiera and Xander; son Kirstan (Rachel) Kuschnerus and children Owen, Aaron and Kayla; son Kameron (Audrey) Kuschnerus and children Tripp and Harper; daughter Krista (Eric) Hackett and children Gabriel, Cayden and Haisley. She is also survived by sisters Catherine Combs, Vickie Gustafson, and Janet Carrico along with many nieces, nephews, dear friends and her beloved dog, Kiki.

Friends and family are invited to the home of Jim and Karina for an open house to share memories and stories of Lynne on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Email Karina at karinamorgan@vossauto.net or text her at 937-684-2590 for details.
