Lynn Collins

COLLINS, Lynn (R. Lynn Campbell Baggott) of Centerville, passed away on July 30, 2010. She was the beloved mother of Lisa McCauley (Tim) and David Baggott and devoted "Dodie" to grandchildren, Katie and Jack McCauley all of Dayton, OH. She was the loving "wicked" step-mother of Shelly Steffano of Dayton, OH, Mike Collins (Kelly) of Beaver Island, MI, Leanna Hettinger (Jim) of Torch Lake, MI, and Rich Collins (Cathy) of Torch Lake, MI. She is also survived by her brother Craig Campbell (Helen) of La Jolla, CA, sister-in-law, Marcia Collins (Rudy Hofmann) of Centerville, OH and brother-in-law, Tom (Mary Lou) Baggott of Oakwood, OH. Lynn was born April 26, 1937 in La Jolla, CA to Mary and Kent Campbell. She graduated from La Jolla High School in 1955 after which she attended Ohio State University where she met her first husband, Hop Baggott, Jr. Lynn worked as the Patient Services Coordinator at Children's Medical Center until she remarried Richard F. Collins in 1979. Lynn enjoyed playing tennis with her friends at Hollinger in the summer and Quail Run in the winter, reading, vacationing in California, Florida and Arizona, and spending time with her family as well as her cat, Tessa. She found great delight in her friends, and enjoyed spending time on her various porches having a "pop" or two with them – "vodka, no fruit". She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses and many terrific friends. A private service will be held at a later date.
