Lyla King, age 78, passed away on April 5, 2022. She was born in Kentucky on July 4, 1943 to the late Clyde and Hope Blanton.
She loved QVC shopping and her dog, Jojo. She also loved hosting parties and get-togethers. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Lyla was preceded in death by brother, Burgess Blanton, and her granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Honeycutt.
She will be remembered by her sons: Bryan and Donald Honeycutt; grandchildren: Jordan, Madison, Donald and Heather; 8 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Paul Blanton; sister-in-law, Toby Blanton; and extended family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Lyla's life from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with a Memorial Service beginning at 4:00pm.
