Lyda Stevens

STEVENS, Christine (Lyda), age 77, of Dayton, went home to be with The Lord Tues., Sept. 21, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son Michael "Cracker" Stevens and by 4 brothers Bill, Ellis, Earl and Glenn Hamm. Christine is survived by her husband of 53 years, James; her daughter Gail Tyson; 2 grandchildren Christopher and Amber Tyson; 2 great-grandchildren Zachary and Katlyn; 5 sisters Lillian Fraley, Jo Hamm, Jean Amorocho, Betty Caudill and Joyce Campbell and numerous other family members, friends and neighbors. She was an active member of Moraine City First Church of God and a Godly woman who enjoyed winning souls for Christ. Funeral services 7 P.M., Fri., Sept. 24, 2004 at Moraine City First Church of God 5867 Springboro Pike. Brother Robert Northcutt officiating. Visitation will be from 5 -7 P.M. Friday prior to the service at church. Addtional visitaion will be Saturday Sept. 25 from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. at Northcutt & Son Funeral Home, Morehead, KY. Interment at Stevens Cemetery, Hayes Crossing, KY will follow visitation. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Christine's memory.
