Turner, Lutrell Darrell, age 85, of West Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
Lutrell is survived by his daughter: Gina Hicks; former son-in-law: Dave Hicks; grandchildren: Julie, Mandy, Beth & Kenny Hicks; and great grandson: Conner Hicks. He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Turner and son: Kenny Turner. Lutrell was a United States Navy Veteran Proudly serving during WWII and he retired from Frigidaire/General Motors with over 30 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Road, Moraine with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will receive friends at church on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Lutrell. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
