Luther Broughton Jr.

BROUGHTON JR., Luther age 83 of Kettering, formerly of Loyall, KY, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Katherine and his parents Luther and Sallie Broughton. He is survived by his son Jack Broughton, his daughter Sherrie and husband Clent Alsept, both of Kettering, OH; grandchildren Scott, Jamie, Ian, Stacy, Jason, Matt, Josh and Casie; 9 great grandchildren; brother Elmer Broughton of Kettering, OH; and a host of other relatives and friends. Luther served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He was employed at NCR for 29 years and retired from GM after 15 years of service. He was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Terrell Hudson officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment at Resthaven Cemetery in Loyall, KY on Friday, March 16 at 1:00 pm.
