Patterson, Luster, 81, of Harrison Twp., passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015.
He was born July 15, 1934 in Barbourville, KY to the late Oscar and Odie Patterson.
Luster was a quiet, simple man who was well loved. He was a mechanic, and loved to "collect" tools.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Rannie Patterson; 2 sons, Reed Patterson and David Patterson; 2 granddaughters, Jamie Sue (Doug) Blackburn, Amber La-nae Patterson; former daughter-in-law, Angela Patterson; sisters, Evelyn Wagers, Tressie Mosley, Marie Jones; brothers, Oscar Jr., Russell, twins Clyde and Claude, Custer, and Glen; brothers- in- law, J.D. Hensley, Franch (Jerry) Hensley , Mitchell Hensley, William(Barbara) Hensley; sister-in-law, Carrie Griffie; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Luster was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Patterson, his parents, Oscar and Odie Patterson, brother, Carnes Patterson, sister, Essline Phillips, and brothers in law, Benton Jones, Sam Mosley, Earl Deaton, and Arvil Hensley,and sisters-in-law, Jewel Cole and Christine Deaton.
