Lula Parrish

PARRISH (Purvis), Lula, age 76, of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010. She was born February 26, 1934 in Sand Gap, Kentucky. Lula is survived by her children, Wanda Lai, Shirley Parrish, and Fenex (Debra) Bowman; one brother, Eldon (Linda) Purvis; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Richard E. Lai, Sr., and 19 brothers and sisters. Bobbie Predmore officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the family in care of Newcomer Funeral Home. A gathering will be held following the burial at the Glass Crutch (4707 Old Troy Pike).
