Lula Nichols

Nichols, Lula age 88, of Vandalia went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2019.

Lula was a long term Faithful Member, and Mother of the Beavercreek Church of God. She was a true believer of God and stood Strong in her faith. She was a prayer warrior and soldier in the army of God, and she was loved by all. She loved the Lord with all her heart and would always read and stand upon His word. She fought the good fight, but now her battle is won. No more pain and no more worries, for now she's at peace forever; and safely home in heaven. We will miss her saying "be safe on the roads", for that was one of her prayers for everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George G. Nichols; son Gary Dean Nichols; daughters Catherin Maryland Nichols and Terri Lynn Nichols; great great grandson Malachi Andrew Nichols.

Lula is survived by her children, Pat (Eddie) Hardy of Xenia, Ohio, George C. (Judy) Nichols of Dayton, Ohio, John M. (Pat) Nichols of Vandalia, Ohio, Rev. Larry W. (Sheryl) Nichols of Vandalia, Ohio and Gwen Allison of Vandalia, Ohio; 8 grandchildren Amanda, Chris, Kelsey, Chase, Larry D., Laura, Jakob and Nathan; 6 great grandchildren Cameron, Oliver, Lula, Lindsey, Ryan and Allison; and one great great grandchild Noah; as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 5-7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. A funeral will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at The Beavercreek Church of God. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
