Lula Moore, 82, of Dayton, passed away December 30, 2016. Lula was born in Jackson, KY on November 25, 1934. Lula retired from The Dayton Mental Health Center after over 35 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
Lula was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Billy Hawkins; mother, Mary Little; father, William Moore; son, Billy Joe Hawkins, grandchildren, Larry Dozier, Shannon Dozier; and daughter in law, Tina Dillavou.
She is survived by her daughters, Becky (Al) Grubb, Glenda (Daniel) Martel, grandchildren, Tony (Angel) Dozier, Eric (Danielle) Dozier, Ian (Jeanna) Kelly, Christina (Brad) Hawkins; 8 great grandchildren; half brothers, Thomas Little, Bobby Eugene Little; and a host of family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 12-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
