Lula Mae Gardner

Lula Mae Gardner, age 69, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2024. She was born on August 27, 1954 to the late Willie Gardner and Beaulah Glover. 

In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her brother, Willie A. Gardner. 

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Antowann Gardner; grandchildren: Nicholas Crane and Nautica Wright; and a host of aunts, cousins, friends and foster family.

Lula worked at Chrysler starting in 1996 and later retired from the company. She made many great friendships that remain to this day, and lived her best life during her retired years vacationing. Lula enjoyed cruises, fine dining, shopping, and spending time with the ones that cared and loved her dearly. She participated in bible study and church regularly at Anointed Word Bible church, where she remained faithful until the day she gained her wings.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where her service will begin at 11:00am. Following the Service, Lula will be laid to rest at Shiloh Park Cemetery.
