Luke D. Tenney, age 39 of Mt. Healthy, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2020. He was born on April 11, 1981 in Kettering, OH to Lewis "Dan" Tenney and his late mother, Susan Holbrook. In addition to his mom, Luke was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman P. and Malta Tenney; maternal grandparents, William and Erma Holbrook.
He is survived by his beloved spouse and daughter, Danielle and Rylie; father, Dan (Brenda) Tenney; brothers, Jesse (Jackie) Tenney and Matthew (Kelsi Hall) Tenney; sisters, Chrystal (Charles) Neal and Shelby Tenney; uncles, Frank Tenney and Bill Holbrook; aunts, Hulda Davis, Wanda Kessler, Sonnie (Mike) Lunsford; niece, Kinley; nephews, Jett, Blake, Eylan, Jude, Colson and Paxton; cousins, Michelle (Brian) Krawczak, Blaine Kessler, Sean Davis and numerous other extended family and dear friends.
Luke enjoyed everything about motorcycles, especially riding them. He was a huge Bengals and Buckeyes fan. Luke's biggest love in life was his daughter, Rylie. He adored her every second of the day and night. Luke listened to just about every kind of music but his favorite was some good country music including his entire Garth Brooks collection. He could be found out on the golf course with his dad from time to time.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-3 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459) where a memorial service will begin at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), in Luke's memory.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
