Luis Felipe Dou, 82 of West Carrollton, passed away on April 10, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1939 in Havana, Cuba to the late Felipe Dou and Aurelia Vega. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Lazaro Dou.
Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Maria Teresa Dou; daughter, Melissa (Shane) Stephens; two grandchildren, Sebastian and Gabriel Stephens; and cousin, Celina Watson. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
The most important thing to Luis was his was family and most enjoyed playing Legos and video games with his grandchildren. He also liked to play with his grandpuppy, Leia and grandkitten, Binx. Luis enjoyed watching movies and laughing at comedy shows. He is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
