Lucy E. Ramey

Lucy E. Ramey, age 79 of Dayton, went to be with her Lord on October 20, 2018. She was born on August 19, 1939 in Sneedville, TN to the late Walter and Bertha Mae (Livesay) Rhea. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rhea R. Seals and her 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Ramey and Samuel (Letitia) Ramey; grandchildren, Gabriel, Justin, Tiffany, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth and Cody Allen Roberts; great-granddaughter, Autumn Ramey; sister, Lucille S. Collins; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lucy loved to cook and feed all her family and friends. She took in 2 legged and 4 legged people and cats to care for and provide them with a home and love. Lucy was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing everything she had with others. She was a waitress at Maggie's Place on North Dixie for many years.

She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Missed but not forgotten.
