WAKEFIELD, Lucy, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Euna Hall.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim Wakefield; children, Randall (Kattie) Wakefield and Renee (Fred) Eibling; grandchildren, Tyesha Michelle, James Randall, Geoffrey Lee, Stephen Kyle, Rachel Alexandra, and Randall Lee, Jr.; great granddaughter, Lucy, and sister, Jettie Cooper, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Lucy taught Geometry at Beavercreek High School for 35 years and was a founding member and past president of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority. She was an avid quilter and won many ribbons for her quilts.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.
