Age 80, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Susie Denny; and by many brothers & sisters.
Lucretia is survived by nine children, Edwina (& Syl) Sozio, Marsha Ross, Patricia Taylor, Marcus Ross, Vickie Waller, Nicholas (& Deborah) Ross, Lisa Woodall, Verchelle (& Chauncey) Cummings and Kimberly Ross; 14 grandchildren; and by four great grandchildren.
Lucretia was a member of the Kentucky Rendezvous Club for over 30 years and a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Her son-in-law, Pastor Chauncey Cummings will officiate. Interment will follow at West Memory Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
