Lucreitica Lynette "Chris" Day, age 55, of Fairborn, passed away on February 23, 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 14, 1965 the daughter of the late Frances Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her mother; sisters, Annette and JoAnn; nephew, Tyree Sr.; and great nephew, Tyree, Jr.
Chris is survived by her beloved husband, Dion Day; children, Victoria (Jenay) Powell, Alexzandra Bell, Victor (Chya) Henderson, Wendell (Caitlin) Wheeler, II, Curtis Babio, Diona Day and Deon Day; grandchildren, Kina, K'naisa, Janelle, Amar'e, Aston, Krislynn, Maleah, Syare, Syrece, Messiah, Savion, Dominic, Rose and Aurora; siblings, Robertra Harrington, Barbara (Ronnie) Houston, Chanda (Michael) Williams, Carlos (Debra) Coleman, Wende (Bill) Morgan-Elliott, Rasheada (Donald) Greathouse and Ranata Henry; and many other loving family and friends.
In her free time, she loved to play cards, dance, sit outside and spend time with her family. Her family was her life. She never met a stranger, she thought of everyone as family. Chris was full of light and life, her smile and laughter were contagious. She had a very generous nature and would help everyone in need. Chris will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, where services will begin at 4:00pm with Rev. Terrence Hayes officiating.
