Lucille Simpson

Helen Lucille Simpson, age 93, passed away October 30, 2014. She was born January 5, 1921 in Connersville, IN to the late John and Sally McRoberts. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Simpson; grandson, Joel Simpson; and brother, J.B. McRoberts.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Agatha Leffler; daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and John Johnson; son and daughter-in-law: Joseph and Cynthia Simpson; grandchildren: Teresa Taylor and Kimberly Johns; great grandchildren: Justin, Brittany, Jessica, Brooke and Beth; and great great grandson, Liam.

Lucille was a member of Miami Shores Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 pm. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in the Alzheimer's Association.
