Lucille Peters, of Miamisburg, passed away August 30, 2015. She was born April 5, 1926 in Pennington Gap, VA to the late Van Buren and Lillie Parks. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Pete" Peters; and brothers: Harold, Clyde and Bill Parks.

Lucille is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Nancy Peters; grandchildren: Amanda (Daniel) Payne and Eric Peters; great-grandchildren: Nehemiah and Hope; brother, Earl (Sue) Parks; sisters: Stella Carter and Johnnie Honeycutt; many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lucille was a member of Farmersville First Baptist Church and The Parks Quartet. She retired from Community Blood Center, where she worked for many years as a nurse.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
