Lucille Gillis

Gillis, Lucille (nee Damron), age 75, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away on Christmas morning at Dayspring Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born March 15, 1933 in Chillicothe, OH. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Della Damron; 8 brothers; 2 sisters; and 1 grandson. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, James A. Gillis; sons, Barry W. & Rev. Jay A. Gillis; daughter, Tamara S. Cloyes; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren, all of the Dayton area; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH, with Rev. Jay A. Gillis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of services. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston, Ohio.
