EDWARDS, Lucille age 87 passed away January 11, 2012.

She was born September 5, 1924 in Hale Alabama; and was a long time resident of Dayton. She was a member of Gods Refuge Shelter for over 20 years.

A celebration of life will be held January 18, 2012 at United Christian Center (Doris J. Swartz), 433 Oak Street in Dayton, with Pastor Ethel Mullan officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore RD.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Susan Labon; husband of 52 years, Richard Edwards, JR; son, Harry James Edwards; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Richard (Eurlene) Edwards; daughter, Patricia

Edwards; granddaughter, Yolanda (Damon) Stewart; host of great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Ann Crutcher; nephews, Ronnie, Reggie, and Jimmy Crutcher; and a host of other family members and friends.
