Lucia Carol Fulks

Lucia Carol Fulks, age 81 of Dayton, formerly Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 26, 1937 in Martin County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Wallace and Gladys Bailey.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Mary Chaffin.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Linda Eskew, Deborah Cottingham; 2 grandchildren, Jason (Stacey) Cottingham, Christy (Ben) Van Eck; and 2 great grandchildren, Lucas Michael Cottingham, Wayatt Theodore Cottingham.
Carol graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Huntington, West Virginia with her LPN nursing degree. She then furthered her education by obtaining her RN nursing degree from Marshall University.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
