Loyal V. Locke

Locke, Loyal V., age 100, of Miamisburg, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009. Loyal was a retired Project Engineer from Huffy Corp. with over 23 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dayton, and along with his wife, was very active with We Care Arts in Kettering. Loyal is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Barbara & Denis Ribas of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law: Marc & Lynn Locke of Dayton; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Phyllis Locke of New Jersey; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Zelda Locke; son: Larry Locke; grandson: Kenneth DeBoard; and parents: Fern & Stella (Walters) Locke. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastors Roger Schalnat and Dr. Dale R. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
