Lowell T. Perry

Perry, Lowell Thomas entered the life eternal on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at his home in the presence of his family. Lowell grew up in West Virginia and Portsmouth, Ohio.

He served two terms in the United States Army, two years in the European theater and three years in the occupation of Japan following the end of WWII. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Accounting from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, in 1955. He was a 50 year member of F & AM, St. Johns Lodge #13.

Lowell and Lois Taylor were married in September of 1955. Along with his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his daughters: Paula Jean (William) Lowe and Julie Elizabeth (Steve) Horn; grandchildren: Aaron Bogusz, Jillian Hendry, Nathaniel Steven Horn, Hilary Kathryn (Will) Barber; great grandson: Joseph Lee Hendry; sisters: Betty Ball and Shirley White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Dorothy Lane American Baptist Church, 960 W. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. A dinner, to which all are invited, will immediately follow the service. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 2:30 P.M. until time of services, with Masonic Services beginning at 3:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in honor of Lowell. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel).
