Lowell E. Cooley

COOLEY, LOWELL E. "Pete", age 73, of The Villages, FL passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007. Mr. Cooley was born in Dayton, OH and moved to The Villages, FL in 1994. He retired from OLDC#1410 and previously worked for NCR. He was a Marine Corp. Veteran serving in the Korean conflict, a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, FL, a former member of Ascension Catholic Church, Kettering, and a friend of Bill W. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael in 1994. Survivors include his wife Adele, daughters Janet and Michael Mclaughlin, Diane and Michael Porter, son Dean and Kelly Spicer, five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Marlene and Earl Foor, numerous nieces and nephews, all from the Dayton area. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:30a.m. at Ascension Catholic Church with Father Chris Worland Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice House of your choice.
