Louise Rita Parish (Bear), 94, of Kettering, passed away on May 5, 2014 at home.
She was born to the late Rutherford B.H. Bear and Hazel Bear, December 23, 1919, in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and received an associate's degree from Miami Jacobs Business College. She was married to her late husband, Lee Parish, retired USAF, for over 31 years. While in the Air Force they traveled and went to so many countries. She retired from DESC, after 25 ½ years of service. Louise was a Past President and member of the Riverside Seniors, President of the Riverside Republican Woman's Club, member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 9926, and a member of the Red Hat's.
Louise is survived by her two daughters: (Virginia Clear, of Kettering, Sherelene Combs and husband, Richard, of Largo, FL.), 3 grandchildren (Kim Bishop, Caryle Clear and wife Anneliese, Mark Clear), and 4 great-grandchildren, (Kyran, Kierra, Gillian, and Rachel).
She had so many friends that loved her and will miss her deeply. Now Lee and her are walking together in Heaven with God…
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at the Dayton National Cemetery.
