Louise Poteet

Poteet, Gladys Louise, age 72, of Franklin, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2012. Louise was a member of New Beginnings Church in Middletown.

Louise is survived by her sons: David M. & Jerry B. Poteet; daughters: Deborah J. Bowling & Lou Cinda "Cindy" Hodge; grandchildren: Nicky L. Poteet, Jessica R. Poteet, Kimberly A. DeWitt, Danielle N. Poteet, Stephanie Poteet, Katherine L. Bowling, Kasandra L. Bowling, Samantha L. Hodge & Maranda J. Hodge; siblings: Geneva Back, Rebecca Smith & Jesse E. Conn; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph M. Poteet; and parents: Vestor Conn & Emma Conn Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in memory of Louise.
