Louise L. Hamilton
June 9, 1930 — September 10, 2022
Louise L. Hamilton, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on September 10, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Colombia, AL to the late William "Buddy" and Juanita Lynn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Hamilton; sisters, Willa Lynn, Mildred Chavous, Dorothy Johnson and Mary Green.
Louise is survived by her children; Daryl Hamilton, Elliott Hamilton, Lynn Hamilton and Jo Ann Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Louise graduated from Wright State University and worked for many years as a teacher for the Dayton Public School System. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching football.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The memorial service will follow at 1:30 pm.
Louise will be laid to rest with her husband at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
