Louise Cataldi, age 79, of Dayton, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. She was born February 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Gilda Sorkin, son, Alejandro Cataldi and brother, Nathan Sorkin.
Louise is survived by her loving husband, Oscar; sons, Oscar (Linda) Cataldi Jr. and Luis (Caroline) Cataldi; daughter, Diana Cataldi; brother, Norman (Marie) Sorkin; grandchildren, Dominic, Benedetto, Isabella, Alexandra and Mila. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Louise was an excellent person, in all aspects of her life. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Philadelphia General Hospital, and subsequently earned her Bachelors Degree in Spanish language from Antioch College. She loved to travel and dance. With her husband, she danced on every ocean and every continent. As a newlywed, she moved to Argentina and became fluent in the Spanish language over the course of nine years. She was very committed to caring for her children. Louise was involved with many community activities through her children. She was beloved and respected my many.

No public services will be held for Louise until a later date.
