Louise Bostick affectionately known as "Madea" passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dayton, Ohio on March 28, 2015 at the age of 99.
Louise is predeceased by parents; Flemmie (Mary Ann Coonie), Edward Harrison Bostic ,siblings; Mack C Bostic, Prince Albert Bostic, James (Jimmy) Bostick, Samuel Bostick, Joseph W. Bostic, Annie Ruth Gardner, Harrison Bostic, daughters; Lucille Tucker, Alice D. Barge, Ola Mae Butler, son in law; Wilburn Barge, grandson; Jeffrey Tucker, great-grandson; Cory Dion Tucker.
Her loyal and loving Brother Benton Bostic and his Wife Anne Bostic survive Louise.
Louise is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Ray Tucker, Jacqueline Finley, Debra Cammack, Gregory Tucker, Douglas Butler, Terry Butler, Michelle Barge, Brenda Butler, Michael Butler, Michelle Butler; 19-great-grandchildren; 18-great, great-grandchildren, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Louise was born in Eclectic, Alabama in July 4, 1917. Upon migrating to Dayton, she worked as an environmental service technician at Good Samaritan Hospital until retiring after 30 years of service.
Louise enjoyed gardening, along with actively planting followers throughout her community. Her philosophy was change begins at home, and starts by taking pride in where you live.
The visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, on April 3, 2015. Family will receive guests and visitors 12:00 pm to 1:30pm.
The Celebration of Life will commence at 1:30pm with Reverend Michael Butler officiating. Interment to follow at Greencastle Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
A reception will take place after services location 5074 Nebraska Ave, Dayton, OH 45424
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
