Louise Amelia (Pfeiffer) Serrer, age 86, passed away Sunday September 30, 2012 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Serrer in 1990. Louise was a loving mother and grandmother who Volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was an avid member of the VFW Post 2800- Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include, one son, James (Toni) Serrer and daughters, Nancy (Darrell) Alexander, Norma (Don) Baker, Judy (Alan) Serrer, Carol Whitlock and Sandy (Larry) Napier. Eight grandchildren, Lorrie, Nicole, Michelle, Huck, Jesse, Lindsay, Dustin, Alexandra; three great grandchildren, Zachary, Atticus and Devon; along with many other family members and close friends. Louise's life will be celebrated with A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd in Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
