Louis A. Sanker

SANKER, Louis A., age 88, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis J. and Mary J. Sanker; brother Joseph and wife, Shirley Sanker; sister, Judy Sanker; brothers-in-law, Frank Worpenberg, Tom Murphy, Al Egbers, and sister-in-law, Betty Sanker. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Sanker; sons, Stephen (Dianne) Sanker, Matthew Sanker; grandchildren, Abby, Christopher, Megan, Bridget, Casey, and Kelly; brothers, Jack and Bill Sanker, and Edward (Shirley) Meldrum; sisters, Mary Rose Sanker, Kathy Egbers, Evelyn Worpenberg, and Helen (Herb) Huseman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Air Force and retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after 30 years of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery's Mausoleum, 4500 Foley Rd., Cincinnati at approx. 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
