Loudema Ash Bloomer

Loudema Ash Bloomer, age 90, of Kettering passed away on June 6, 2023. She was born in Hilton, Virginia on August 18, 1932 to the late Gilbert and Stella Ash. In addition to her parents, Loudema is preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford Ash, Paul Ash, Glen Ash, Junior Ash and Verlin Ash.

Loudema is survived by her children, Linda (Sergio) Navarro, David (Charlene) Bloomer, Barbara (Chet) Lewis, Debbie Bloomer; sisters, Rachel Bledsoe, Susie Hensley; grandchildren, Cheryl (Wayne) Greiner, Amy (Corey) Stanchina, Jared (Lori) Bougneit, Rachelle Navarro, Jennifer (David) White, David Bloomer Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ty Stanchina, Darien Stanchina, Amber Kuenstling, Piper Greiner, Ethan Bougneit, Kylie Bougneit, Erica White, Crystal White, David White; great-great grandson, Emmett Kuenstling; along with many other family members.

Loudema was a manager at Burger King for many years and later retired from the dietary department at Kettering Hospital. She cared for her handicapped daughter for over sixty years, until she was unable to do so. Loudema loved her family and would do anything to help others. During her last couple of years, she suffered with Alzheimer's and resided at Otterbein Springboro.

Family wishes to extend a special thank you to her favorite caregivers.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Dave Tackett to officiate. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery - Dayton.
