Lothar "Val" valentine, age 64, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010.
Val was born June 5, 1946 in Germany and came to the United States as a child. He graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1965. Val was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Johanna Valentine; sister-in-law, Sondra K. Rymer; and brother-in-law, Oscar Rymer.
Val is survived by his wife of 7 years, Deborah Valentine; children, Jacquie (Greg) Swiger; Adam Valentine; grandchildren, Adam Valentine Jr. and Kathryn Swiger; brothers, Carl (Nancy) Valentine, Greg (Liz) Valentine and Anthony Valentine; sister-in-law, Rebecca L. (Chris) Shouse; several nieces; a nephew; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 11am-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in Val's memory.
