Lorraine Nancy Moorhouse

Lorraine Nancy Moorhouse, age 78 of Bellbrook, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 19, 1937 in New York, the daughter of Walter C. and Henrietta A. MacDonald; and is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanette Vigliotti; and step-children Alex and Amanda Moorhouse. Lorraine is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Moorhouse; her five children, Bonita Botteri, Randolph (Julie) Botteri, Diane (TC) Jones, Eugene (Lora) Botteri, and Thomas (Samantha) Botteri; her first husband, Benito (Charlyn) Botteri. She was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren Brian, Andrew, Nicole, Daniel, Justin, Tyler, Brandon, Lucas, Caleb and Dylan; two great grandchildren Alyson and Logan; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Lorraine worked as an HUC at Miami Valley Hospital and was a licensed massage therapist for several years. She enjoyed music, traveling and cooking, but her life was always centered around taking care of her family, who loved her immensely.

She will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at David's Cemetery Chapel, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, OH. Burial will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
