Lorraine Yvonne (Moore) Rounds, age 98, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017. She was born September 21, 1918 in Salem, SD the daughter of the late Jim and Margaret Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rounds; sons, Rodney Rounds and Richard Rounds ; grandson, Adam; son-in-law, Darrell Atwood; 1 brother and 5 sisters.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Jack (Sandy) Rounds, Penelope "Penny" (Jack) Center, Cheryl Gordon, Pamela Dowen, Rebecca Rounds, Gary Rounds, Greg Rounds; Robin Macadangdang and Deanne Atwood; grandchildren, Jill Fischer, Douglas Rounds, Karen Moore, Jeff Center, Jack Center, Scott Center, Joe Center, Shannon Schwartz, Phillip Ayles, Shane Ayles, Mark Ayles, Tim Gilvin, Stephanie Chambers, Jamie Gilvin, Jennifer Tucker, Kari Johnson, Portia and Mesha Macadangdang and Mandy Loftis; 30 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 605 Granville Place Riverside, OH 45431. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ohio Special Olympics, 3303 Winchester Pike, Columbus, OH 43232.
