Lorraine M. Murphy

Lorraine Margaret Murphy, age 91, died at Bethany Village on November 12, 2014. She was born June 27, 1923 in Egan, South Dakota. She was a wife, mother and professor emeritus at the University of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Murphy, and her oldest son, Kevin C. Murphy. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Murphy and her fiancé Tomas Cavallaro of St. Petersburg, Florida; her sons, Thomas F. Murphy of New Orleans, Louisiana and Stephen J. Murphy and his wife Megan A. Murphy of Berkeley, California; her granddaughters, Lila Rain Murphy of San Diego, California and Jamie Bysak, of Anaheim, California.

A memorial mass will be held in her memory at St. Leonard Chapel at 8100 Clyo Road on November 20, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
