Lorraine Herath, age 81 of Dayton, passed away April 11, 2015. She was born July 29, 1933 in Clark Range, TN to the late Floyd and Ella Hanahan. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Archie Hanahan; and son, Trent Herath.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bruce Herath; sons: Jerry (Barbara) Herath and Rex (Laura) Herath; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, William (Virginia) Hanahan.
Lorraine was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Alter Guild. She retired from Gem City Surgical. Lorraine was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling and gardening.
Private services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Contributions may be made in Lorraine's memory to Faith Lutheran Church, Dayton, Ohio.
