Lorin Longbrake Harshman, age 51 of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022.
He was born October 2, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late John B. Harshman Sr. and Jeannette (Brant) Hampton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey W Corry.
Lorin is survived by his sons, Dylan Roark and Lorin Harshman of Dayton, Ohio whom he thought of daily. Also brothers, Charles Corry of Tampa Florida,Darrell (Joyce) Corry and Jonathan Harshman & one sister, Cheryl (Corry) Price all of Michigan. He also has 2 aunts, several nieces,nephews & cousins. Lorin also has a very special lady in his life of 4 years, Shelia Nickell whom he loved dearly. He also had many many long time close friends that he held close to his heart. Everyone loved Lorin.
Lorin worked for Homrich Wrecking as a Masonry Laborer for many years & he really enjoyed his job.
He also had a lot of hobbies, which consisted of following history of Dayton & also history of his family ties, and loved to collect vintage items to research.
I believe the only positive about Lorin gaining his Angel wings is that he is with his mom, the place he would want to be!
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
