Lori D. Herrfurth, age 52 of Moraine, passed away January 7, 2022. She was born February 14, 1969 in Dayton to Billy J. Bruce, Jr. and Sandy (Claborn) Brankamp. Lori was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lawrence Herrfurth; paternal grandmother, Rhoda Milner; paternal grandfather, Billy J. Bruce, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Dorothy Claborn.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Chris Herrfurth; daughters, Natalie and Rachel Herrfurth; father, Billy Bruce, Jr.; mother, Sandy Brankamp; siblings, Lisa (Rodney) Carlson and Matthew (Nichole) Bruce; mother-in-law, Mary Herrfurth; sister-in-law, Terri (Jerry) Ryan; brother-in-law, Mike (Amy) Herrfurth; nieces and nephews, Kristin, Sean, Maddie, Zachary, Mickayla, Carson, Austin and Xander; numerous extended family and friends.
Lori was a devoted wife and mother above all else. She treasured her daughters and embraced every moment of their lives. She made friends everywhere she went and was loved by all who knew her. Her sense of humor had a way of taking you by surprise and leaving you laughing.
Lori was graduate of Wayne High School and later earned an associate's degree form Sinclair for Medical Assisting. She worked at Springboro Pediatrics for the last 8 years and will be greatly missed by all her co-workers.
Lori always approached life with a quiet, calm, strength and nothing will be the same without her.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459). A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 13 with Pastor Steve Rudisill officiating at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery, Kettering.
