Loretta J. VanHoose, age 85 of Dayton, OH, was born April 16, 1933 in Johnson County, Kentucky to Lonnie and Alice (Hall) Greene, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her residence.
Betty was surrounded by her family and her husband of 65 years, Paul. She was loved dearly by all her family, was very faithful to her church, attending Calvary Enterprise Baptist Church for many years. We will have wonderful memories, especially the holiday dinners held in her home. The family will all take comfort that her battle with ill health is now over. Betty is home with the Lord, she will be greatly missed and we will cherish our time together with all her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her husband Paul; her children and grandchildren; brothers and sisters and other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 17 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
