Loretta Susan Smith

Loretta Susan Smith "Susie", age 71 of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter to the late Willard and Mary Morgan.

Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family. She had a very fun personality and loved music and Elvis Presley. Susie was a graduate of Kiser High School in Dayton. She worked for Morning Pride/Total Fire (now Honeywell) for 18 years.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Morgan and infant sister, Shirley.

Susie will be missed by is survived by her husband Dave Fazel; daughters, Angela (Joe) Jenkins and Mary Sturgill (Rey Lopez); grandchildren, Robert Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins and Erica Jenkins and Aaleah Branscomb, James "J.D." Branscomb, Savannah Bryant and Morgan Lopez; sisters, Patricia Bright and Carol (Mike) Cremeans; brother, Charles Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be work in all public places.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Susie's memory to the American Cancer Society.
