Loretta Murphy

MURPHY, Loretta A., 81 of Kettering passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Loretta was born February 17, 1924 to Glen and Henrietta Murlin in Dayton, OH. She was a charter member of the Church of the Ascension and a member of F.O.E. Aerie No. 321 Auxiliary. She was a wonderful and treasured wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone. She is survived by her loving husband of over 62 years, Harold E. Murphy; children: James E. (Jan) Murphy, Diana L. (Tom) Claude, Barbara J. (Bob) Chandler, Beverly A. (Ed) Tangeman, Darlene L. (Bob) Robinson; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.) from 4-7:00PM on Sunday, January 22, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Monday, January 23rd at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering, Father Chris Worland, celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
