Loretta Lynn Mumpower
February 11, 1953 — April 17, 2021
Loretta Lynn Mumpower, age 68 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on February 11, 1953 in Valeria, Kentucky to the late Elmer and Irene Lykins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 45 years, Vincent Theodore Mumpower Senior, her son, Vincent Theodore Mumpower Junior, and her many siblings.
She is survived by her two granddaughters, Bridget (Nathan Almashy) Mumpower and Ashley Mumpower; great-granddaughter, Acacia Almashy; and sisters, Juanita and Edith. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Loretta was devoted to her faith. She loved animals especially her fourteen Rottweilers. She also enjoyed feeding the squirrels, working on puzzles, and fishing. Loretta is well loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held privately at the families discretion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to SICSA Pet adoption and Wellness Center. To share a memory of Loretta or to leave a special message for her family, please click the "Share Memories" button.
